Havaianas Concept Store (1 hr)

The shop is located in the Jardins area at Rua Oscar Freire 1116. The opening hours are from Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm.
If the shop is too busy or your product is sold out, there’s another shop around the corner also in Jardins at Rua Augusta 2244.
Liberdade (1-2 hrs)

It is a Japanese neighbourhood but significant populations of Chinese and Koreans also live in the same district. The Asian shops are open daily and on Sundays there is a weekly fair. Most Japanese restaurants are only open at night.
You can go there by metro to station Liberdade. It is easy to see which streets belong to Japantown, just follow the streets with the lanterns.
Skye Bar (2 hrs)

Skye boasts a crimson red pool with an underwater sound system and lounge area with stunning views over Ibirapuera Park and the entire Sao Paulo skyline.
Until 6 pm the sky deck is exclusively for hotel guests. At night it's open for everyone. 6 pm is a good time to go there so you can enjoy the daylight views, watch the sunset and enjoy the night view as well. They serve great cocktails outside and they have a small menu with finger food, pizza's and Japanese snacks. There is also a restaurant inside on the top floor with a more extended menu.

Praça do Patriarca shopping area (1-2 hrs)

The streets around this square are great for shopping, bars and restaurants. There are lots of colourful places in several pedestrian streets like: São Bento, 15 de Novembro, Direita and Quitanda and many more small streets around.
You can go there by metro, take the red line to station Anhangabaú. Exit at gate A or B.
Vila Madalena neighbourhood (2-3 hrs)

The area has a real Bohemian atmosphere, calm and laid-back. Every street has another ‘speciality’, bars, interior decoration or antiques for example. For shopping you should go there during daytime. Bars and restaurants are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sundays are a bit quiet in this neighbourhood.
You can go there by metro to Vila Madalena, but the nice streets are more nearby stations Sumare or Faria Lima.
Lomography Gallery Store (1 hr)

This group of people made this fantastic little camera trendy again and nowadays there’s a worldwide Lomographers community. Lomography Gallery Stores were set up worldwide and a very nice one is located in Sao Paulo at Rua Augusta 2481.
Monday to Friday from 11 am to 8 pm, Saturday from 11 am to 7 pm. Closed on Sundays.
Jardins (1 -3 hrs)

Most shops are open from morning to 10 pm. There are several places for lunch and in the streets around above-mentioned streets are a lot of great restaurants for dinner. Most of them are open until after midnight.
Restaurant A Figueira Rubaiyat (2 hrs)

They are known for their oysters and beef of all kinds from Brazil, Argentina and Australia. They also serve the wonderful but expensive Japanese beef from cows, which drink beer and get a daily massage. But be aware, they will serve you starters, cookies and liquors with your coffee and it looks like they are for free, but they are not. Besides that it is a nice restaurant with a great location.
They are located in the Jardins are at Rua Haddock Lobo 1738. Reservations can be made by phone: (11) 3087-1399 or by e-mail.
The opening hours are from noon to 0.30 am, and Fridays and Saturdays they are open until 1 am.
Sunday Market at Praca de Republica (1 hr)

At Praca da Republica is a wonderful Sunday market during daytime. You will find a lot of handicraft, decoration and souvenirs. Around the market on the outside of the square you will find many artists selling their paintings and other creations.
It’s a nice market to see, but be aware in the streets around the square, as downtown Sao Paulo is not known as the safest area in town. You can go to the market by metro to station Republica.
Sancho, bar y tapas (2 hrs)

The restaurant is located in the Consolação neighbourhood at Rua Augusta 1415. Telephone: (11)31411956. The restaurant is open from Monday to Friday from 11:30 am and on Saturday and Sunday from 5 pm. The place closes late night.
Sunday Market under MASP (1 hr)

A visit to this market is a good combination with a visit to MASP and/or Trianon Gardens. The address is Avenida Paulista 1578. You can go there by metro to station Trianon-MASP.
Shopping Patio Paulista (1-3 hrs)

It is located in the principal business district of Sao Paulo and it is open every day from 10 am to 10 pm (Sundays and holidays from 2 pm to 8 pm). The address is Rua Treze de Maio 1947, Bela Vista. If you can read Portuguese you can find more information here.
Santo Grao (1-2 hrs)

But the biggest speciality they have is their own coffee-roasting factory. So you can drink the best coffees from home roasted beans here.
